Some good information, but there are TONS more wild plants and herbs that can provide healing for us. It is good to have a book handy that tells you what they are, everyone should have one!
there are native americans that have lost touch with their heritage just as most transplanted americans. It should be a priority to document all useful plants by region and use. The importance of medicine men/women should be utilized to the fullest to keep these secrets alive.

Yes, weeds are herbs, “indian vegetables.” The natives had a taste for the bitterroots and were healthier for it. They have all the nutrients that cultivated vegetables are missing, due to depleted soils, and they restore soils left fallow (why the Bible advises rotating crops every 7th year.)
