Ask about the side effects of statins, and the mainstream will respond with just six words.
SHUT UP AND TAKE YOUR MEDS!
They don’t want to hear it. Don’t want to talk about it. Heck, they’ve even claimed that most of those side effects are a figment of the imagination, a mass delusion that they’ve dubbed the “nocebo effect.”
That’s their way of saying “it’s not the statins … it’s YOU!”
Well, friend, new research cracks open this ugly lie once and for all and exposes the truth for all the world to see.
Not only are the side effects all too real…
But one of them is permanent… life-altering… and even deadly!
The TRUE risk of statins
The irony here is that docs will take a blood test and even if everything else is perfect – if you hit every single target in the book – he’ll still give you statins if your LDL levels are “too high.”
One number, and that’s it. Drugs for you for the rest of your life (and don’t complain).
But the new study finds that if you take this drug based on that one number alone, you could face three other risks that loom even BIGGER on any blood test:
- HIGHER blood sugar
- IMPAIRED insulin
- TYPE-2 diabetes
That last one is where it all leads. And if you take statins, the study of nearly 10,000 people finds your risk of the disease will jump by 38 percent.
Bad.
But this gets a whole lot worse: The BIGGEST diabetes risk is in patients least able to handle it… the overweight and obese.
These are folks already dangerously close to developing diabetes. Most probably already have problems controlling blood sugar, even if they don’t have diabetes yet.
These folks… with the HIGHEST possible risk… need help AVOIDING the disease.
Instead, the mainstream is foisting statins on them that will CAUSE it.
Side effects stack up with cholesterol meds
Even if you manage to avoid diabetes, statins are no picnic. Just ask anyone who’s suffered from muscle pain, brain fog, and any of the other sickening statin side effects.
You’d think for all of those nightmares that these drugs would be some kind of life-extending miracle.
They’re not even close.
They DON’T even address the REAL PROBLEM with cholesterol, which is not the number.
It’s the oxidation – because that’s what damages LDL particles and causes them to clump up in the arteries instead of passing through cleanly.
So don’t fight your cholesterol with statins. Fight the oxidation instead with a diet low in sugar and refined carbs, high in antioxidants and – if you’re at risk – supplements that promote healthy cholesterol such as astaxanthin.
