Can you IMAGINE what would’ve happened 30, 40, or 50 years ago if everyone was basically locked inside their own home for a year?
We’d have had a BABY BOOM to rival all baby booms on our hands.
But, well, let’s just say when this younger generation claims to be “different,” they really are. Because we’re staring into the face of a BABY BUST instead.
Birth rates have plunged, with 300,000 fewer babies expected in 2021 as a decade-long trend actually gets WORSE. In other words, this past year brought us far too much Zoom and not enough boom-boom in the bedroom.
Now let’s face it, many of us are WELL beyond the age of trying to help reverse this trend. But don’t let that stand in the way of you enjoying a regular roll in the hay anyway.
In fact, I advise it. Because new research reveals, it’s not just SAFE for older folks. A regular bedroom romp could be CRITICAL for healthy, happy aging.
An active LOVE life leads to a BETTER life
It’s news that’ll shock precisely NO ONE. People who have more sex are more content, happier, and more satisfied.
But what may be a bit of a shocker is this: Age doesn’t matter. Because this study didn’t look at the younger set (who, based on those sad birth rates, may not know a good thing when it’s staring at them in their own bedroom).
Instead, it focused on seniors.
The researcher found that older guys who “do it” regularly enjoy more than a few moments of ecstasy between the sheets. They also have far greater levels of overall enjoyment in life.
For the ladies, the benefits are even easier to obtain. Because for the gals, the study finds sex isn’t even strictly necessary.
For women kissing, petting and fondling does the trick too. They all lead to higher levels of life satisfaction and emotional “closeness” to their partner.
Bust through bedroom roadblocks
But there’s potential trouble in paradise. Because seniors often face one or two big bedroom roadblocks along the way.
But the truth is both of them can be overcome, often easily.
Bedroom Roadblock #1: Health
Many seniors think that heart disease… or even a heart attack… signals the end to their love life. After all, it’s just too big a strain on the delicate ticker, right?
Well, good news. That’s just simply NOT the case at all.
Studies show that most folks can resume bedroom behaviors within DAYS of a heart attack. The general rule of thumb is that you can handle a romp in the hay if you can climb two flights of stairs.
Ask your doctor for more about when you can safely get back to business in the bedroom. And don’t be shy. They’ve heard it ALL before.
Bedroom Roadblock #2: Ability
Many seniors can face some combination of low libido and physical difficulties that make doing the deed challenging. For guys, erection problems are quite common. And for women, struggles with lubrication can turn what should be pleasure into pain.
But there’s one mineral that has the potential to help men and women alike. And that’s plain old zinc. Many of us don’t get enough of it from diet alone. And then what we DO get is harder to absorb as we get older.
That’s why studies estimate that up to half of all seniors fall short in zinc. And that can show up in the bedroom. Zinc plays a critical role in erectile function in men and lubrication in women, and libido in both.
Now you DON’T want to simply start popping zinc supplements. Because you don’t want too MUCH of the mineral either. A good multivitamin will often contain a safe amount. And then you can fill things out with more zinc-rich foods. Some good ones to try are…
- beans
- mushrooms
- green vegetables
- nuts
- oysters
- beef
- lamb
- poultry
