Some things don’t just sound too good to be true. They sound downright impossible.
Undo aging? Yeah, right.
Well, my friend, the impossible may have just become possible. Because new research reveals a way to change something we’ve been told is practically irreversible.
It’s a simple trick that can essentially “DE-AGE” you. And I don’t mean you just feel younger or seem younger. I don’t even mean you look younger.
I’m saying you can basically biologically turn YOUNGER where it matters most. That, of course, is deep inside your body, where aging happens on the DNA level.
This technique is so powerful that the new study finds you could remove up to THREE YEARS of aging within just 8 weeks.
The 8-week plan to reverse your biological age
Your true age has nothing to do with the calendar. Instead, it’s found in your DNA.
The two often do run in sync with each other. That’s why many people hit a wall past a certain age. But it’s not always the case.
We all know folks who’ve turned old before their time. And we’ve all known “super seniors” who hit 90, showing no signs of slowing down.
Scientists are increasingly tracking “true” age with something called DNAmAge. It looks at a process called DNA methylation, or how methyl groups latch onto or detach from DNA, which in turn switches specific genes on and off.
It’s a delicate balance because you want certain genes switched on… and certain ones switched off… at various times. But as you get older, all the wrong ones tend to light up. This, in turn, can lead to inflammation, chronic disease, cancer, and even early death.
Ever since researchers discovered this system, they’ve been looking for ways to “tweak” it. Essentially, they want to HACK aging. And let’s face it, I’m sure some of them were hoping to uncover a drug they could earn billions on. But they haven’t found it yet.
Undo aging at the DNA level
Instead, they found something else. A simple eight-week program that ANYONE can do that can reverse DNAmAge. In other words, UNDO aging.
I shared some details on this incredible breakthrough earlier this year when the preliminary data was first published. Now, the full report is out. And it’s even BETTER than anyone expected.
The volunteers in the study were instructed to…
- get about 7 hours of sleep a night
- get around half an hour of movement most days
- do some stress-busting breathing exercises twice a day
They also took a probiotic supplement with Lactobacillus plantarum and a phytonutrients blend while following a diet based on the Mediterranean lifestyle.
After just 8 weeks, they had taken 3.23 years off of their DNAmAge compared to a set of volunteers in the study who served as a control group. In a very REAL way, they beat aging and got younger.
The study didn’t go beyond 8 weeks. I imagine returning to bad habits would undo any benefits of the plan. And sticking with it permanently might be too tall an order for many folks to follow.
But there IS a middle ground to be found here. Use this plan as a starting point for 8 weeks to help give your DNA an edge against aging. And when you’re done, keep as many of those healthier habits as you can, as best you can.
Avoid processed foods and other sources of toxins, and you should be well on your way to better health and staying “young” where it matters most.
