But today I’m going to release you from that guilt. Because the truth is if you grill up a steak… stir-fry some beef strips… or roast some pork chops… there’s NOTHING to feel guilty about.
Sure, we’re always being told it’s terrible for our health. According to the mainstream, red meat…
- has too much saturated fat
- can give you heart disease
- contributes to obesity and diabetes
But new research exposes this red meat smear job for what it really is. And that’s the greatest PUBLIC HEALTH FRAUD of all time.
So today, I’m going to let you off the hook. Go right ahead and fire up the grill or turn on the broiler, because red meat is BACK on the menu.
The scoop on saturated fat
As I’ve been explaining for YEARS now, red meat ISN’T the enemy. It’s LOADED with vitamins and minerals.
Oh, and that boogey man saturated fat? You actually need some of it. Plus, the assumption that it causes heart disease is a faulty leap in logic.
In fact, there’s NEVER been any experimental evidence drawing a direct link between saturated fat and heart disease. We need to focus on small, dense, and oxidized LDL instead.
But I know it can be hard for many folks to believe. After all, for decades now EVERY mainstream health authority has parroted the same tired advice about the supposed dangers of saturated fats and red meat.
And you’ve been told to eat less red meat because it will reduce heart disease risk.
Well, now you can officially tell them to stuff it (maybe with some prosciutto) because a major new report from the MAINSTREAM ITSELF has finally said the quiet thing out loud.
This advice – which the New York Times called the “bedrock of almost all dietary guidelines” – simply isn’t backed by sound science.
Just the opposite. It’s backed by NOTHING.
The REAL TRUTH about red meat revealed
A team of researchers from seven nations spent the past three years examining the studies on the effects of red meat on health risks.
They found red meat WON’T increase the risk of…
- heart disease
If there’s any link at all, it’s tiny. And it’s far too flimsy to ask folks to make massive changes to their eating habits.
The study also confirms something else we all know. People LIKE meat. In fact, they like it so much that even if it did have risks, most say they’re willing to make that tradeoff.
They sound like my kind of people. But as it turns out, there isn’t much of a tradeoff anyway. So go ahead and have that steak as part of your healthy diet and DON’T feel guilty about it anymore.
If you really want to ensure your good health go for the organic, grass-fed red meat. And don’t wash it down with a sugar-filled soda or stick it between two pieces of white bread.
Because it’s those empty, over-processed carbs that are the real cause of obesity, disease, and death. Maybe one day the mainstream will admit that, too.
