And now researchers are saying a steady diet of these foods could give you liver cancer.
A diet high in REFINED fiber triggered liver cancer
The joint team of researchers from Georgia State University and the University of Toledo stumbled onto the truth accidentally.
They had set up an animal experiment to find out if a diet enriched with highly- refined inulin fiber could fight off obesity complications.
To everyone’s surprise, some of the mice soon developed jaundice, a red flag for liver problems. But the researchers were shocked when after just six months many of the unfortunate critters had developed full-blown liver cancer.
Processed foods HARM your health
In other words, the same shortcut Big Food is making with their so-called “healthy” processed foods could be sending your risk for liver cancer skyrocketing.
Don’t fall for it. Over-processed junk doesn’t magically transform into a healthy food merely because manufacturers dump refined fiber into it. Despite the deceptive packaging.
