MMM-mmm-mmm, good – nothing like a nice, tall, cool glass of chemicals, pesticides, antibiotics, and hormones in the morning.
Sounds crazy, right?
Well, new research exposes the truth about what millions of Americans are drinking… pouring into their cereal… and stirring into their coffee.
It’s NOT the farm-fresh moo juice you think it is.
It’s TOXIC SLUDGE laced with chemicals. And that includes some considered SO dangerous that they’re officially BANNED.
But you don’t have to give up the farm just yet, because the new study does more than simply expose the problem.
It also reveals a way to drink better, cleaner, safer milk.
Conventional dairy is laced with drugs and pesticides
You’ve had to scratch and claw for every dollar you have. It’s only natural that you want to hold onto each one for as long as you can, too.
If you’re anything like me, you’re not about to toss away your hard-earned dough on frivolous things.
But let me assure you that spending a couple of extra bucks to get BETTER milk is worth every single penny. Because when you cut corners with your moo juice, you could pay the price with your health.
In fact, you could essentially be poisoning yourself according to a new study from Emory University!
Emory researchers tested both conventional milk and organic milk, with samples gathered from every region in the nation.
Sixty percent of the conventional milk samples contained trace levels of antibiotics. Want to guess how many of the organic ones did? If you guessed NONE, you win the goldfish.
Even worse, 37 percent of conventional milk samples tested positive for sulfamethazine, and 26 percent contained sulfathiazole. Both of these antibiotics have been BANNED from dairy farms.
Looks like “ban” doesn’t mean what it used to!
This isn’t just lip service either. Having antibiotics in our milk supply is a BAD thing for a couple of GOOD reasons.
First of all, some folks have allergies… even severe ones… to these drugs. And they could be getting dosed with them every time they swallow some milk.
And, of course, antibiotic resistance is putting us ALL in danger.
The conventional milk tested also contained the controversial bovine growth hormone (bGH) in levels TWENTY TIMES HIGHER than what was found in organic milk.
Close to 60 percent of conventional milk contained chlorpyrifos, a pesticide that’s been restricted. And many samples tested positive for other types of dangerous pesticides as well.
Make the MOO-VE to organic milk
But organic milk contained NONE of that junk.
Clearly, organic dairy is the way to go. As the new study shows, it’s safer in just about every possible way.
And if you really want to raise the quality of your milk, get the grass-fed organic variety, ideally from small farms.
Studies show compared to the cheaper conventional stuff, with organic dairy, you’ll likely get more of several different critical nutrients including…
- omega-3 fatty acids
- essential minerals
I don’t know about you. But that’s worth an extra buck in my book any day.
