It’s like a never-ending nightmare.
You THOUGHT it was finally safe to start taking your blood pressure pills again. You BELIEVED you’d found a stable supply of your meds at an average price.
But in reality, the mainstream drug machine has just dropped the hammer on you again. WHACK.
Because there’s a whole NEW round of recalls. As the latest batch of the popular generic blood pressure medication losartan tested positive yet again for a cancer-linked chemical.
And you could be at risk RIGHT NOW… unless you take quick action.
The mainstream, of course, wants you to simply swap one prescription for another.
But I’ve got a much better plan for you today – one that can end this insanity for good. So the next time there’s a recall you won’t even have to pay attention.
You’ll know, without looking, it doesn’t apply to you. Because you may not even be on BP meds at all anymore.
New scare over losartan blood pressure pills
The FDA has just announced a new recall for generic losartan a popular blood pressure drug. The losartan tested positive for a chemical called N-Nitroso-N-methyl-4-aminobutyric acid (NMBA) at levels well above the agency’s “acceptable” safety limit.
But let’s get real. Given that NMBA has been linked to CANCER, the only “acceptable” limit should be NONE.
Yet millions have been exposed. And not just from this batch of lousy losartan. Since last summer, there have been a series of recalls of losartan, valsartan, and irbesartan.
Some patients switched to a new blood pressure drug, only to see that one recalled. Then to yet another, only to see THAT one recalled, too.
Even when folks finally DO find an alternative drug that works for them, they’re liable to be struck with sticker shock. In many cases the replacements may not be covered by insurance, leading to huge out-of-pocket expenses.
Lower BP NATURALLY with proven solutions
But you DON’T have face skyrocketing cancer risks with losartan. And you DON’T have to spend big bucks to bring your BP back down to where it should be.
There are much simpler ways to coax your blood pressure back towards the healthy zone. In many cases, they could even help wean you off the BP drugs for good.
But they don’t get nearly the attention they deserve. Probably because these natural options seem a little TOO easy, so folks don’t realize they work as well as they do.
Potassium and magnesium, for example, aren’t exactly “trendy” even among the natural health crowd. But these two pennies-a-day minerals can often cut BP as effectively as meds… without the risks.
And just last month, I shared with you another easy trick. Taking 15 mg of lycopene per day can cut the systolic (“top number”) reading by up to 10 points. Which means lycopene performs even BETTER than many drugs.
And as a bonus, you’ll get the cancer-busting benefits of lycopene too.
Work with an integrative medicine doc to introduce these natural therapies to your own blood pressure treatment plan. And before long you may be able to reduce, or even eliminate, your meds in favor of these alternatives.
