You spend your whole adult life trying to AVOID cancer.
Shunning bad habits like tobacco. Minimizing medical imaging. You even steer clear of questionable chemicals whenever you can
And yet, if you’re like most folks, despite those efforts, you’re doing something several times a day that could be setting the stage for this disease.
You’re eating.
I know you HAVE to eat, of course. But an overwhelming percentage of our most common foods are now tainted. They have a chemical in them called glyphosate, which the World Health Organization considers a probable carcinogen.
But the latest science reveals a way to help chase this toxin right out of your body.
In fact, you could scrub most of it away in less than a week. And you don’t even have to do anything particularly special.
You’re exposed to this cancer-linked weedkiller daily
The weedkiller glyphosate – aka Roundup – was supposed to revolutionize farming with a two-step process.
- First, you replace the natural crops in your field with genetically engineered versions designed to withstand glyphosate.
- And second, you dump tons of this chemical onto your fields, knowing that the crops will live, and the weeds will die, eliminating massive amounts of labor and uncertainty.
Just one problem: That same glyphosate STAYS on the crops. That means it ends up in your food, then in YOU potentially increasing your risk of several kinds of cancer.
(Click here to catch up on how this chemical’s manufacturer recently forked over $10.9 BILLION to settle a slew of lawsuits brought by cancer victims.)
And it’s not JUST in genetically modified foods (GMOs) that expose you as most people assume, or only in the crops most linked to glyphosate like corn and soybeans.
Shifting winds and busy bees have carried glyphosate to OTHER fields and OTHER crops across America’s farmlands. The tragic result is that trace levels of glyphosate turn up in everything from ice cream to honey.
Worse yet, the feds have slowly increased the “allowable” levels in food – so you can be exposed to more than ever.
Glyphosate levels plunged 70% in less than a WEEK
That’s why it’s so tough to avoid and why nearly EVERYONE has some level of glyphosate in their body. One study found that the creepy chemical is in the urine of 93 percent of Americans. And that percentage has likely grown since then.
But the new study reveals a way to bring those levels down FAST. And it happens to be a solution I’ve been recommending right here in Healthier Talk for years.
All you have to do is switch to organic foods.
In a new study, families put on an all-organic diet saw their glyphosate levels plunge by 70 percent in just six days. Odds are their levels would continue to drop, although likely not down to zero, given how widespread glyphosate is now.
Sure, “going organic” means ponying up a little more scratch for your groceries.
But every extra cent buys you LESS danger, including slashing your exposure to OTHER pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides. And along with eliminating GMOs from your diet, sticking with organic means, you’re getting more nutrition. Studies show higher levels of antioxidants and other nutrients in organic foods.
Two studies have even found a lower risk for the cancer non-Hodgkin lymphoma in folks who eat organic.
In other words, it’s well worth the extra cash.
