Dairy lovers strap on your party hats. It’s time to celebrate.
Researchers have confirmed what I’ve already been telling you.
The mainstream’s obsession with a low-fat diet is sadly misguided. And it could EVEN end up being harmful to your health.
According to the breakthrough new study, there’s no reason to avoid eating delicious full-fat dairy products such as cheese and yogurt.
In fact, these foods aren’t just perfectly healthy.
The new research found that diets high in cultured milk products are associated with a significantly reduced risk of stroke… and all other causes of death… in a large group of volunteers.
In other words, if you were following my advice to eat these foods as part of your healthy diet, you may have ALREADY slashed your risk of dying prematurely.
Untangling the low-fat dairy lie
Imagine being able to eat something you already love and have it help you live healthier and longer too.
Talk about hitting the jackpot!
For decades now, the mainstream has run a smear campaign against delicious and wholesome dairy.
We were told that saturated fat… conventional medicine’s favorite bogeyman… would lead to heart disease, cancer, and early death.
But evidence has been building that saturated fat isn’t the villain it’s been made out to be. It appears moderate amounts in our diet won’t harm us.
In fact, saturated-fat-filled dairy foods such as creamy and delicious Greek yogurt could even be lifesavers, judging by the nearly 25,000 folks included in the new survey.
New dairy research performed by top docs
And this wasn’t just some obscure research done by a group of crackpots either.
The highly prestigious European Society of Cardiology (ESC) presented the findings at their annual meeting recently.
56 national cardiac societies, 15 working groups and seven councils from all across Europe and the Mediterranean make up the ESC.
And it boasts 90,000 members… cardiology professionals from all over the world.
In other words, these are some of the best and brightest in the field.
Eating MORE dairy LOWERS death risk
And as I mentioned earlier, it’s far from the first time we’ve seen dairy research fly in the face of conventional wisdom, of course.
A 2017 meta-analysis combed through the data of 29 prior studies. And the researchers concluded there was no association between eating dairy products and heart disease or premature death for any reason.
The new analysis examined surveys from 24,474 adults with an average age of 47.6 years.
And the scientists found a…
- 2 percent reduction in overall death risk for ALL DAIRY
- 8 percent drop in death risk for CHEESE
- 4 percent drop in cerebrovascular death risk for ALL DAIRY
- 7 percent lower risk for cerebrovascular deaths for MILK
Another meta-analysis by the same team with even more people confirmed the results.
It also found, however, that drinking a lot of milk specifically might reverse some of those benefits. Over the 15 years examined, the folks who gulped down vast quantities of milk alone had a higher risk of heart disease.
Making the case, as always, for moderation. Because too much of even a good thing is a bad idea.
The researchers concluded that eating MORE dairy PROTECTS against death and death from cerebrovascular causes.
So if you haven’t already followed my advice to put yogurt, cheese, and other dairy products back on the menu what are you waiting for? Dig in!
But don’t forget to choose organic to avoid pesticide and antibiotic tainted dairy.
