Ladies, it’s the news you never wanted. The diagnosis you’ve always feared.
But one in eight women will get it eventually.
More than 5,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer every week. And every week, 800 women die of the disease.
But now, we’ve uncovered something to slow those numbers down.
We can “bend the curve” of breast cancer in the right direction. And we can do it in one of the simplest ways possible.
Because new research reveals one step EVERY woman can take to stop this disease starting TODAY.
And it’s so easy and painless, there’s no reason to not get started right away.
Cut breast cancer risk with one small change
You hear a lot about how small things can make a big difference when it comes to health. But in the case of breast cancer, it has now been PROVEN to be true.
Researchers say you only need to make one MINOR change to your lifestyle to see some MAJOR benefits. A simple diet tweak so little you’ll barely notice it.
But that small change can make a BIG difference when it comes to this leading killer of women. It could measurably reduce your risk of breast cancer.
That tweak is fiber. Eat more of it, and your odds of being diagnosed with this deadly disease could drop.
Overall, the new study finds that women who have higher levels of fiber in their daily diet have a healthy eight percent lower risk of breast cancer.
Most likely, that’s because it helps control blood sugar. Many cancers… including some forms of breast cancer… basically, feed off sugar. When it’s rushing through the blood, they hijack that glucose and use it to help themselves grow and spread.
But fiber naturally absorbs some of that excess sugar, so there’s less of it surging through your system. Plus, this plant-based carbohydrate is also good for keeping excess estrogen in check, which is another source of fuel for some forms of this disease.
Boost fiber for BIG health benefits
So you understand how important fiber is for your health. But you probably suspect that you’re not getting enough.
Well, you’re hardly alone there. One study found that just five percent of Americans meet the basic guidelines for fiber. And remember, those are BARE minimums.
Most experts believe you need WELL over the minimum guideline numbers to get all of the benefits fiber has to offer. And it’s not just a lower risk of breast cancer and an easier time on the toilet you can expect from boosting this vital nutrient.
Studies show fiber can also help…
- improve sleep
- control your weight
- cut your cholesterol
- reduce stroke risk
… and even slash your risk of serious heart problems.
And, honestly, it couldn’t be easier to get more of it in your diet. You can start with the old “an apple a day” idea (skin on, please). They’re a top source of fiber. Then add some legumes to your salads and sides. Next, eat more broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and other delicious high fiber veggies. And finally, have some nuts for your snack.
Just be sure to sensibly limit fiber from “whole grains,” especially bread. A reasonable serving here and there is fine, but don’t go overboard.
Whole-grain foods might have more fiber than the “standard” versions, but depending on the food, they often aren’t nearly as healthy as the marketing would lead you to believe. Skip the rice and corn, for example, and pick nutrient-rich whole grains such as steel-cut oatmeal instead.
Don’t wait. Add more delicious fiber-filled foods to your menu starting TODAY. And you could wake up TOMORROW with a reduced risk of breast cancer, heart problems, and more.
