Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, and your risk of diabetes will plunge. And when I say plunge, I really mean it. In fact, according to one new study, your odds of facing this devastating disease will drop dramatically.
Slice your type 2 risk IN HALF
New research reveals if you commit to eating just a bit more fresh produce than what’s currently on your menu, your risk of type 2 diabetes can dive by a quarter.
And believe me when I tell you there’s no drug in the WORLD that can promise results like THAT. But hold on a sec, because this simple solution gets even more remarkable.
Eat a little more than that, and your odds of diabetes can plunge by 41 percent, researchers say. And remarkably, if you REALLY step up your game… if you pile plenty of fresh fruits and veggies onto your plate… your risk can even be sliced IN HALF.
What makes this new study so remarkable is that they didn’t just ask people what they ate, which isn’t a very reliable way of doing these things. They took blood tests.
Researchers checked the volunteer’s levels of micronutrients. Healthy levels are a dead giveaway that someone is eating plenty of produce. And the scientists found that even small changes in what we eat can translate into BIG differences in diabetes risk.
