We loved it as kids.
Adored it as young adults.
And we STILL go gaga for it, even now as we head into our Golden Years.
But just about EVERY step of the way we’ve been dogged with one persistent message every time we indulged in it.
Dairy has a bad reputation among folks in mainstream medicine. It’s calorie-dense and high in fat, two things conventional wisdom tells you are the kiss of death.
So all the so-called experts nag you to limit dairy… reduce it… use “low-fat” versions… and even switch from real milk to chalky soy drinks that make you want to gag.
Well my friend, if you, like me, LOVE milk and ADORE cheese… or even the occasional scoop of ice cream… I have just the news you’ve been waiting for.
I’ve got the details on a new study that ought to shut those dairy-hating nags up for good.
It reveals how fresh dairy can enhance your health at every one of those stages of life I just mentioned.
And as you get older, the benefits get even bigger!
Milk your dairy products for all they’re worth
The new review of 14 studies reveals how the benefits of dairy begin before you’re even born. When moms-to-be drink more milk, their babies are stronger and healthier.
But that was a long time ago for most of us. So today, let’s focus on how dairy helps those of us who are a bit little older.
Dairy isn’t only a top source of muscle-building protein, it’s also what I like to call “nature’s multivitamin.” Because dairy is ready to help fill in any gaps when we miss out on several essential nutrients we need to get and stay healthy.
You see, ounce for ounce, you’ll be hard-pressed to find ANYTHING as loaded with nutrients as dairy, including…
- vitamin A
- vitamin B12
- pantothenic acid
And of course milk has been fortified with vitamin D, which is required to absorb calcium, since the 1930s. Compare that to a basic multi, and you may be surprised how well it holds up.
The DELICIOUS way to fight off chronic disease
Those MAJOR nutrients add up to MAJOR protection. Which is why the new study finds a regular dairy habit can slash your risk of both heart attack and stroke.
Get some of that dairy from yogurt, and your risk of diabetes will plunge too.
Right out of the gate, those are three HUGE benefits.
But they don’t end there.
The same study finds dairy can help protect against another top killer: cancer. Specifically, they found that older folks who get more dairy have a lower risk of colorectal and bladder cancers.
Dairy is also loaded with calcium, which is excellent for bone health. In the new study, seniors with a dairy habit were less likely to suffer painful breaks and fractures in the spine.
In other words, don’t give up the (dairy) farm just yet. Go ahead and indulge in fresh milk products, including whole milk and your favorite natural cheeses.
They’re not just delicious. Dairy foods are some of the best, not to mention tastiest, natural medicines around.
