Milk your dairy products for all they’re worth
The new review of 14 studies reveals how the benefits of dairy begin before you’re even born. When moms-to-be drink more milk, their babies are stronger and healthier.
But that was a long time ago for most of us. So today, let’s focus on how dairy helps those of us who are a bit little older.
Dairy isn’t only a top source of muscle-building protein, it’s also what I like to call “nature’s multivitamin.” Because dairy is ready to help fill in any gaps when we miss out on several essential nutrients we need to get and stay healthy.
You see, ounce for ounce, you’ll be hard-pressed to find ANYTHING as loaded with nutrients as dairy, including…
- vitamin A
- vitamin B12
- pantothenic acid
And of course milk has been fortified with vitamin D, which is required to absorb calcium, since the 1930s. Compare that to a basic multi, and you may be surprised how well it holds up.
The DELICIOUS way to fight off chronic disease

Dairy is also loaded with calcium, which is excellent for bone health. In the new study, seniors with a dairy habit were less likely to suffer painful breaks and fractures in the spine.
In other words, don’t give up the (dairy) farm just yet. Go ahead and indulge in fresh milk products, including whole milk and your favorite natural cheeses.
