Waking up from our chronic pain nightmare
Whether it’s back pain, migraines, knee problems, or any other ongoing pain, you’re not alone in your suffering.
The number of people reporting chronic pain has skyrocketed in a generation.
Back in 1997, a third of adults had at least one ongoing pain condition. By 2014, that number jumped to 41 percent, according to a study published in January in the Journal of Pain.
