Because new research has confirmed that D supplements could be the key to staying ALIVE if you’re ever diagnosed with cancer.

You can’t just pop a vitamin D and POOF your cancer is gone.
But if you do ever find yourself in a battle with the Big C researchers say taking this common vitamin could significantly extend your life.
Vitamin D slashes risk of dying from cancer
In the recent meta-analysis, researchers combed through the results of five different trials on vitamin D and cancer.
And they found this vital vitamin slashed the risk of dying from ANY type of cancer by 13 percent.
Imagine that. You’ve just been handed what could be a death sentence.
But instead, you get the gift of more precious time to do the things you LOVE with the ONES YOU LOVE
Well, with vitamin D, that may be possible.
But there is ONE small catch. The Michigan State researchers found the link was in folks who had been taking the supplement for at least three years.
Which means, to be on the safe side, the time to start taking D is NOW.
And that’s especially true if you’re at a higher risk for cancer.
Stop cancer in its tracks and live LONGER
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a link between D and surviving cancer.
In another study, high doses of D delayed the progression of metastatic colon cancer for over a year.
A study published in the journal Clinical Cancer Research found low levels of vitamin D are linked to more aggressive and advanced stages of prostate cancer.
And a combo of vitamin D and a common cholesterol drug sent death risk plummeting 38 percent in a group of men with metastatic prostate cancer, in another.
D deficiency is dangerously common
Living longer after a cancer diagnosis isn’t the only reason starting on a D supplement is a good idea, either.
Studies have found that taking a D supplement could ALSO slash your risk for getting cancer in the first place. And that’s especially if you’re getting up there in years, or your levels are low to start with.
Folks with low D are up to twice as likely to develop pancreatic cancer, for example. And recent research has confirmed vitamin D deficiency is common in cancer patients.
Dipping D levels have ALSO been linked to obesity, dementia, diabetes, and heart disease. And running low is FAR more common than most people realize… especially in seniors.
When we get older, we tend to spend less time outside in the sunshine. And, at the same time, our bodies don’t absorb vitamins and other nutrients quite as well as they used to.
