They’re talking about reopening gyms again soon in some places, and I can’t help but laugh a little.
When this is all over, and I’m allowed to go somewhere again, I won’t need a gym. I’ll need a DRINK.
All kidding aside, if you weren’t a fan of gyms before you’re certainly not about to enter one now, here in the age of coronavirus, even if they do reopen.
But who needs gyms anyway? There’s ANOTHER way to help get back that muscle lost to age and quarantine. And ANOTHER way to rebuild your strength.
You don’t need a gym… just a time-tested natural compound that’s been around for ages. As new research shows how adding this safe herbal remedy to your routine can help power you up.
The HERBAL secret to stronger muscle
Fenugreek has been used in traditional medicine for centuries to help control blood sugar, fight inflammation, and more. There’s even some evidence it could help build a barrier against cancer.
Women have used it during nursing to increase milk. And guys have enjoyed its other pleasant “side effect” … a testosterone boost that can help drive bedroom performance.
Now, the new study nails down another BIG benefit. It reveals how adding fenugreek to your regular plan of healthy exercise could help deliver…
- MORE strength
- INCREASED muscle
- MORE endurance
Good? You can bet your abs it is. But it’s about to get a whole lot better. Because while it delivers MORE on all three of those essentials, this same breakthrough may also lead to LESS where it matters most…
- LESS fat
More muscle, greater power, and less unsightly flab all from a safe and natural compound that’s been around for ages
Bulk up AND shed fat with fenugreek
While the new study focused on athletes, they didn’t look at pros. They concentrated on regular folks. You know the weekend warrior types
They weren’t going through crazy Arnold-level gym workouts or wrestling with complicated machines. But doing basic calisthenics instead. In other words, the exact kinds of body-weight exercises that you can easily do in your own home.
One group of folks in the randomized, placebo-controlled double-blind study took 600 mg of a fenugreek extract per day and did their workouts just three times a week. And they saw significant improvements in strength, muscle, power, and body fat in only eight weeks when compared to the group which got the placebo.
These weren’t just tiny improvements, either. Incredibly, in a leg-press test, the volunteers who took the extract were able to press an extra 45 pounds by the end of the eight-week study.
They also saw modest-but-real cuts in body mass and body fat, and a 1.8 percent boost in lean muscle. And those benefits are all the more impressive when you realize these folks WEREN’T put on a diet. They were just given fenugreek and those three-times-a-week calisthenics workouts.
You can find those types of at-home exercises online, especially on YouTube. I suggest searching for “calisthenics for seniors” or “easy home workouts for beginners” to find some good options. I even found chair exercises when I looked, which could be the perfect option for someone just starting out.
Just be sure to start small and stick to your ability. And if you have any questions about what’s safe for your age and ability, speak to your doctor or a physical therapist.
