Sometimes I’m convinced there’s a whole group of people working in medicine who see a problem and think, “How can I make this even worse?”
What other explanation is there for these bad ideas they keep churning out?
Take blood pressure meds, for example. Far too many older folks can tell you first-hand that the only thing worse than taking a head-spinning blood pressure drug is when they decide to put you on two.
But rest assured that the group I mentioned earlier loves a challenge. So they’re hard at work on making that situation even more terrible.
Right now, as I write this, some scientists are slaving away in a lab. They’re cooking up a single pill that has no less than FOUR blood pressure drugs crammed inside it.
And the way they’re acting, it’s as if they think they just invented sliced bread.
The four-in-one pill you DON’T want
To be clear, there are some proven safe and effective drug-free ways to cut blood pressure you can try. They work well for many folks. And they don’t come with a laundry list of sickening side effects.
I’ll share one of my favorites in a moment.
But you certainly won’t hear about those alternative options from the bought-and-paid-for “experts” in conventional medicine. Their bosses wouldn’t like that at all.
Instead, these talking heads preach the gospel of Big Pharma.
Like trained parrots, they keep mindlessly repeating the same advice… take THIS drug. Numbers still too high? Take another. Still battling high blood pressure? Well, let’s add some more.
It’s how so many seniors end up on multiple drugs for blood pressure. But a new study is proposing a shortcut.
“Why wait?” they wonder. Instead of adding BP meds one at a time, you can simply squish them all into a single pill for folks to swallow. What could go wrong?
The pill they’re proposing contains lower doses of four hypertension medications. And in the new study matched or beat the usual approach of taking one drug and adding more if and when needed in some 600 folks with high blood pressure.
They also report the volunteers didn’t have many additional side effects. But let’s be real. With just half of the 600 patients on the four-in-one pill and only being monitored for a year, that data is a bit thin to determine any real long-term risks.
And believe me, there are real risks linked to blood pressure meds, including brain fog, dizziness, weakness, constipation, leg cramps, impotence, fatigue, and gout.
Natural alternatives to reduce blood pressure
Before filling a prescription for potentially risky blood pressure drugs… especially a 4 in 1 pill that turns you into Big Pharma’s latest guinea pig… there’s a much better option you can try first. Dozens of them, in fact.
One of the best is natural L-carnitine supplements. L-carnitine is proven to deliver lasting heart protection. Plus, in one study, the supplement cut systolic (“top number”) blood pressure by 7.41 mmHg.
That makes it about as effective as many drugs—in some cases, even better—but without the risks.
Have a chat with your doc about giving L-carnitine a trial run. And, of course, never stop taking a med without discussing it with your doctor first.
I’ve also got another surprising blood pressure solution for you. It’s easy. There’s nothing to buy. You can do it in your own home. And it will make you feel FANTASTIC.
But, of course, best of all, it could help bring your blood pressure back under control in a flash. Get all the details right here in this free report.
