You can lose your hair, your eyesight, and even your mind a bit to senior moments, and be fine.
But if you’re like most folks, there’s one thing you REALLY don’t want to lose. And that’s your abilities in the bedroom.
And that, my friend, is one of life’s cruelest pranks. Just when you feel like you’ve FINALLY mastered life and truly understand the ways of love, it can be snatched away.
As we get older, that nighttime bedroom prowess can be STOLEN from us by the ugly side of aging. And some folks think those magic moments will never come back.
But I’m here today to correct the record.
You can regain your:
- DESIRE
- LIBIDO
- FUNCTION
- ABILITY
Yes, you can bring back everything you need for an unforgettable night of you-know-what, tonight, and EVERY night. Heck, morning and afternoon too, if that’s your style.
Get BACK IN ACTION in the bedroom
First, never forget the basics. As simple as it sounds, good sleep, low stress, and proper nutrition are essential for good health at any age. But when we enter our senior years, they become even MORE critical.
And all three can go a long way toward solving some of our most common and persistent chronic health complaints, including those frustrations in the bedroom.
But some specific natural therapies can help get you cooking with gas again – including three that work for MEN and WOMEN alike.
L-ARGININE:
This amino acid helps stimulate nitric oxide to pop open blood vessels, getting your circulation moving everywhere. And yes, that includes “down there.”
For women, “down there” means very specifically your most sensitive parts. The l-arginine paves the way for the three things that can bring the zing back in the sack. And those, of course, are more arousal, stimulation, and pleasure.
And guys, that rush of blood is exactly what you need for a solid performance… if you catch my drift. Want to put even MORE power into the act? Pair the l-arginine with Maritime Pine Bark Extract, and studies suggest you’ll have a match made in heaven.
ZINC:
There’s a reason shellfish have been used as aphrodisiacs for centuries, And that’s because they’re rich in the “miracle mineral” zinc. Oysters, for example, contain between FIVE and TEN TIMES the daily RDA intake for zinc.
And if you’re over 60, there’s a really good chance you’re running low. In fact, experts say up to 50 percent of seniors don’t have sufficient zinc levels.
And it’s not only that you’re less likely to get enough of the mineral in your diet. As you age, your body becomes less efficient at absorbing the zinc you do take in.
For men, zinc plays a crucial role in building and maintaining those “stand at attention” moments in the bedroom. For ladies, that same mineral is needed to ensure the evening goes smoothly, remaining all pleasure and no pain.
Zinc is also a great libido-booster, as anyone who’s had a romantic evening that began with oysters on the half shell can attest. And that’s likely because zinc can play a crucial role in the production of an essential hormone needed to get the good times rolling. (More on that in a moment.)
Just don’t load up on zinc supplements unless you’ve been diagnosed with a deficiency and your doc gives his thumbs up. Zinc’s a “just right” mineral, where you don’t want too little or too much. So getting it through diet is usually best.
TESTOSTERONE:
You might think of testosterone as a “guys only thing.” Lots of folks do. And that’s a mistake. Because while it’s true that men need a LOT more of it, women need some, too.
And lucky for ALL of us, there are some simple things you can do to help bump up our circulating free testosterone a bit. Which can help get things cooking in the bedroom whether you’re a guy or a gal.
That zinc we just talked about could help enhance testosterone too. Low zinc levels increase estrogen receptors and decrease testosterone receptors. Plus, it can help block testosterone’s conversion into estrogen, essentially giving a little boost in testosterone levels.
DHEA could also do the trick. Or, if you want to avoid taking a hormone supplement, the herb ashwagandha can stimulate the body into making a little more of its own DHEA.
Sometimes, however, you may need an even bigger hormone boost than what you can get from zinc, ashwagandha, or even DHEA. If you’re tried everything and are still feeling frustrated in the bedroom, speak to a naturopathic or holistic doctor. He can run tests of all your sex hormones and help you restore any that are lagging.
And when that happens, look out. It’s likely your libido will soar, and your bedroom is bound to become the busiest room in the house.
