Turn on the TV, flip to nearly ANY kind of sport, and all you see is fit young athletes in their 20s and 30s.
Until you get to the Golf Channel.
Now there’s a sport ANYONE can do, regardless of age.
You might even think to yourself, “I’d be playing too if it weren’t for my arthritis.”
Well, friend, it’s time to stop wishing and start swinging.
Researchers say golf could help SAVE your knees, STOP the damage, and EASE the pain. In fact, the game can even REVERSE damage in the joint itself.
Reverse arthritis and nix knee pain
Of course, since folks of all ages and athletic prowess (even those WITH arthritis) can play golf, some killjoys claim it’s not a “REAL” sport.
They’ll try to tell you it doesn’t count as “exercise” since much of the activity is social. And they’ll insist you spend a good part of the time standing around, BS-ing with your pals, and then you occasionally smack a ball.
Well… yeah! That’s a BIG part of the appeal, isn’t it?
But don’t let anyone kid you. As long as you’re up, on your feet, and moving around, you’re doing a heck of a lot more than most people.
Especially the ones WATCHING golf on TV instead of getting out and PLAYING it.
And, as the new study PROVES, it absolutely counts. Plus, as I said earlier, it could also be the key to nixing that arthritis knee pain.
There’s just one small catch. You need to skip the cart and walk the course instead.
I know, it seems like the last thing you want to do when your joints are giving you a fit. But research has proven time and again that a little movement is GOOD for creaky knees that have been damaged by arthritis.
And the study proves it once again, by putting riding up against walking in a head to head test with a bunch of golfers with knee arthritis.
When they walked, they had a little more inflammation, as would be expected.
But they ALSO had more signs of “remodeling” in the cartilage, which is the process your joints use to repair themselves.
In other words, the more they walked, the BETTER their knees got.
Rebuild your joints from the inside out
Now, obviously, if your own joints are being held together by threads then walking the course may not be for you.
Not YET, anyway. You’ll need a little more help first.
A natural therapy called UC-II collagen can help some folks rebuild and repair their joints, so you feel less pain and more comfort.
In fact, it’s SO effective that it’s proven to work even better than the good old standbys glucosamine and chondroitin, by nearly every important measure.
Which means it might help YOU get back out on the course again too. FORE!
