The medical community should be out CELEBRATING. New research has revealed a simple natural therapy that could help to save millions from one of today’s deadliest forms of heart disease… clogged arteries.
But instead, they’re silence is DEAFENING…
Could it be because it might soon put them all out of work?
Top docs, TV heart “experts,” and drug industry bigwigs are all in self-preservation mode. They’re terrified you’ll find out about this all-natural disease-beating superstar.
So I’m going to spill the beans, even if I get some “hate mail” from the mainstream.
It’s too important NOT to.
OPEN your arteries and SAVE your life
Vitamin K is like a pipe cleaner, except the pipes in question are the ones running through your body.
This potent vitamin RUSHES through your system, helping to SWEEP OUT the crud in your arteries and KEEP you alive and kicking.
And the latest research shows how having the RIGHT LEVELS of this nutrient is critical. Otherwise, you risk your arteries filling up with so much sludge that they seal up and essentially turn to concrete right inside your body.
The researchers didn’t look just at K levels in food or even in supplements. The study did something far more important. It looked directly at what the vitamin does inside our bodies.
So instead of just checking K levels, they focused on a protein that pops up when you start to fall short on K. They found the more of the protein you have in your system, the harder your arteries will be.
It’s that simple.
As levels of this protein jump, so does a measure called pulse wave velocity… a key marker of hardening arteries.
Folks with higher K had lower levels of the protein and better pulse wave velocity. Plus, blood pressures were lower too – cutting their risk of heart problems even further.
Focus on vitamin K for a healthier heart
The researchers didn’t test what happens when you take a K supplement. But if they plan to do it next – and I hope they do – I’d urge them to consider K2 instead of the standard K.
See, you can get regular K from many greens such as kale, collard greens, and spinach. But it isn’t as easily absorbed and likely doesn’t have quite as big an impact once inside.
K2, on the other hand, is harder… maybe even impossible… to get from diet alone.
You can munch or more cheese, fermented foods, pork, and chicken to bump up your numbers. But to really get the levels you’re looking for, you should consider a supplement.
K2 is more easily absorbed by your body. And it hangs out in your bloodstream longer, making it a better “pipe cleaner” for your arteries.
Just speak to a doc first since it can mess with the blood thinner warfarin and related drugs.
Then, if you want even better results… and I’m sure you do… don’t stop with K. Work some magnesium into the mix.
Like K, most folks fall short. And like K, magnesium can help stop arteries from stiffening, with a 2013 study finding that this mineral can cut the risk of hardening by more than half.
