Age isn’t what you see in the mirror. It isn’t a number on the calendar, either. Aging isn’t even how “old” or “young” you feel.
No, your “TRUE” age is something else entirely. Aging actually happens deep inside your cells and your DNA.

The 5-step battle plan to REVERSE aging

The new study tested healthy men between the ages of 50 and 72. Group One was told to carry on with life as usual. Group Two was given a five-part anti-aging diet and lifestyle program to follow.
First, Group Two was asked to follow a diet built mainly around the Mediterranean lifestyle but with some twists. It was lower carb than your typical Mediterranean diet, very high in plant-based foods…with a few exceptions, and included a form of intermittent fasting.

Second, Group Two folks were instructed to sleep at least 7 hours a night. Rest is VITAL for fighting aging. Good sleep is crucial for repair and rejuvenation to happen inside the body.
Third, they got half an hour of exercise five days a week. Nothing too taxing. In fact, the volunteers were told to aim for a target of 60-80 percent of maximum perceived exertion. For most people, that’s a brisk walk or perhaps a light jog.
Fourth, they did breathe exercises twice a day. And like the 7 hours of sleep, this was a critical step in the plan. Deep breathing helps fight the stress hormones, and inflammation that hammer away at your cells and accelerate aging.
And finally, they took a probiotic supplement of Lactobacillus plantarum and a phytonutrients blend (essentially a fruit and veggie powder).
Shave 3 years off your cellular age
As I said, this isn’t a pop-a-pill and reverse aging plan. It does take some commitment on your part and a few weeks of work.
But I’m sure you noticed that all five steps are things you should ALREADY be doing anyway if you’re concerned about your health. And there isn’t a super difficult one in the bunch.

Of course, you could potentially cancel out all the benefits if you return to bad habits after two months. So while every element of this plan doesn’t necessarily have to be a permanent lifestyle change, don’t just abandon those healthy new habits altogether.
