Can Too Much Fruit Be Bad For You?

    Even though we are told the benefits of a Vegetarian diet, there are nutritional deficiencies. It is not about any ONE particular diet. IT IS ABOUT A BALANCED DIET!!!! Meat has its place, Veggies have their place, fruit has its place, cereals have their place, nuts, seeds, etc…even wine, has its place. Including deserts, and snacks. As long as you are SENSIBLE about it.
    Talking about the video, and fruit sugars having more “teeth” time. It is not so much the sugar, but the ACIDS and the sugars form ACIDS, and the ACIDS demineralize teeth, and wear enamel, dentin, etc… This is the cause of cavities. Acid also from Bacteria. They get into crevasses and excrete acids, and that burrows into the teeth causing cavities.
    What neutralizes ACIDS????? Baking soda. Something ALKALINE. I used to have very sensitive teeth. Could not eat an apple. The backs of my upper molars just ached! After brushing with DILUTED baking soda in water for about 9 months, I gave it another try. I have been eating apples again with no problems. I also floss more to make sure food particles are not on the teeth any longer than they have to be. Every time I go into the bathroom for whatever reason, I do a “once over lightly” with my diluted baking soda water. My check ups are good, and I have not had any cavities. So, that is the solution!!! Maybe a baking soda tooth paste, but I just get cheap baking soda, and dilute about 1/2 teaspoon in 8oz. of water. The baking soda EITHER, coats the teeth, OR saturates into the teeth, (remineralizing them), OR just neutralizes the acids, but either way….IT WORKED FOR ME!!!
    Don’t be BRAINWASHED by your Philosophy. Most of them are out of balanced fixations anyway. It is a WHOLE lifestyle, and a BALANCED lifestyle.
    There are many benefits of fruits. They have a CLEANSING property that nobody talks about. Oranges are good blood cleansers, like burdock root, and Red Clover Tea.
    So, balance your lifestyle. Limit, the refined GRAINS in your diet.

    Also, if you are having dental troubles from citrus fruit, (grapefruit can pit your teeth from the acid), then maybe a RE-MINERALIZATION TOOTHPASTE is in order. Do a search for it on-line, it is available.

    The comments by Boomer12K make a lot of sense to me. I take a balanced approach to health issues and keep away from Doctors as much as possible. I use baking soda to clean my teeth once a day and use H2O2 at 3% as a mouth wash. Works well for me and allows me to eat lots of fruit and vegetables.

    I eat fruit after every meal I have a variation of about 10 different fruits each weak to have a nice varied diet of fruit and the good thing about all this is it gives me a nice healthy poo I dont even have to wipe my bum hole and thats the best bit because I hate wiping all that sludge from around my ring piece, anyway so thats just another good reason to eat lots of fruit, thank you for your time and be good not only to yourself but to all those around you and then everyone can be happy and be friends the end.

    I have had gout for years, and tried just about everything without success.I reduced meat to, minimum once
    a week, stopped alcohol altogether.I was having LOTS of fruit and vegetables and my gout was worsening.
    Finally I have read something about Excessive fructose increasing uric acid.I experimented reducing my fruit
    intake to 1 a day, and bingo within days I saw a dramatic improvement.Cherries are the only exception.
    I eat a lot of them when in season,with no ill effects.
